There are several things you can do to increase the security of your account on Ethos, including:
Use unique passwords
One of the most important things you can do is use a unique password for your Ethos account. If you've ever used the same password for more than one website, you should create new and unique passwords for each site (or use a tool such as 1Password or LastPass to help you manage passwords across multiple services)
Create strong passwords
Your password should be difficult for others to guess -- try using a combination of uppercase, lowercase, symbols, and numbers
Rotate your password
Change your password at least every few months
Never share your password
Never share passwords. Ethos Support will never ask for your account password, two-factor codes, or credentials for your banking institutions
Monitor your account activity
Pay attention to your Ethos account and any activity you don't recognize (for example, changes to your personal details). See an email notifying you of a login or account update you don't recognize? Alert us as soon as you see something and we'll work with you to make sure your account is still secure
